The Mike Reese Memorial Fund Announces the Mike Reese Memorial Organization Grant program. This Grant Program is intended to supply grants to Recreational Youth Sports organizations in need of extra funding.
Note: The Mike Reese Memorial Fund would like to support all youth sports organizations in their regular fundraising. Organizations looking for sponsorships of existing fundraisers DO NOT need to complete this application. Please simply submit your regular fundraising requests letter to the address below for consideration.
Grant Guidelines:
- Must be a recreational youth sports organization that primarily serves the 2021 Pennsylvania 59th Legislative District
- Must be an organization that accepts all players regardless of skill level.
- Grants are intended for organizations who are in need of one of the following:
- Start-up funds – organizations that are just getting started in order to fill a need in the area
- Capital Improvement Grant – organizations who are looking to upgrade, expand or replace facilities in order to better serve their community of athletes or to expand the number of athletes that can participate
- Equipment Grant — organizations who are looking to upgrade, expand or replace equipment in order to better serve their community of athletes or to expand the number of athletes that can participate
- Grants will be paid directly to the organization. Amount will be based on need and will be at the discretion of the Board of Directors of the Mike Reese Memorial Fund
- Applications can be submitted at any time.
- Applications will be reviewed timely and the recipient will be notified about the decision
- The selection of recipients and amounts of awards are solely at the discretion of the Board of Directors of the Mike Reese Memorial Fund.
